Moving steel towers

Moving big towers

Moving a 90' gin pole. I have the front and back pulled down with a come along.

 All looks good

Ready to go to the pasture. You will make it ok if you really take it slow.

This is the bottom third to be installed here. The tower in the back ground is the 200' twin to this tower that will support one of the two  8-element 8o-meter sterna curtains.

This is the 90' gin pole on its way to the tower site.

This is the bottom section of a 200' tower.

This is my first attempt to haul a long tower and after about three moves, I decided to put the tower on top of the truck so it would clear the brush better.

This is 120 ' of 3" tubing being unloaded. First you lift by hand one end and pull it away from the truck, then pick it up with the come along and then move the truck.

It's hard to make turns when the tower is so low to the ground.

This is the last of the three sections of my first 200' tower. In the back ground is my 65' rhombic tower and also a 150' tower that will be used to hold one of the two sterba curtains.

A roof mounted tower is much better for driving in this brush.
